The Aspirations of a Godly Mother

James and John were brothers who were chosen by Jesus to be his disciples. These boys had a mother who was remarkable in a number of ways. It’s believed that her name was Salome. Our text in Matthew 20 gives us some insight into the love that Salome had for her children. We do well to learn from her example as we celebrate Mother’s Day.
