“For you, Lord, are the Most High over the whole earth; you are exalted above all the gods.” - Psalm 97:9
God is the one and only God. He is the one who reigns supreme over all things. His power works to create all things and to redeem us from the power of sin and death. No other entity, personality, or being can claim this. Since this is the case, God is the only one worthy of our worship and devotion.
But there are many times that our worship is out of order. We need to evaluate ourselves with respect to the direction of our worship and consider how we derive joy and gladness from worshipping the one and only true God.
