But we will bless the Lord, both now and forever. Psalm 115:18

This Psalm is a prayer of declaring allegiance - that we are to give God glory or recognition for his character and work. Our temptation is that we would redirect that glory back to ourselves. Some of this is worked out in the idols that we craft for ourselves. Instead, we are to glorify God, trust in him, and be a blessing to him. The result is to experience the blessing of God in his faithful love and steadfast truth.
