But we are not those who draw back and are destroyed, but those who have faith and are saved. Hebrews 10:39

This concluding line of our passage from this week speaks to both the warning and promise for followers of Christ who are wavering in their commitment to Jesus Christ. The author of Hebrews implore his readers to maintain the fellowship of believers and their obedience to the scriptures in light of the singular and complete sacrifice of Jesus. To entertain a life otherwise is only to anticipate a judgement for the one who rejects the gospel.
But this need not be our conclusion or determination. This week, we explore the words of this text to see how we may keep faith and experience salvation.
