As we exit the Advent and Christmas season, we move into Epiphany; a new season when we focus on the revealed Saviour who was promised to us. This week, we will explore the baptism of Jesus, how his example in this action of obedience and submission encourages us, and how he willfully identifies with you and I in the waters of baptism. We are able to find comfort and encouragement in that Jesus does not arrive to us in a position of superiority or domination, but as one who comes alongside of us to gently show us our way back to the Father.
