Luke 18:1-8

Now he told them a parable on the need for them to pray always and not give up. Luke 18:1

As we near the conclusion of the Parables series, we consider the perspective of steadfast prayer. Jesus had just spoken to the disciples about his return that would take place after his resurrection. There will be difficulties and challenges for the followers of Jesus. Jesus is encouraging his disciples to pray and not to give up. In the context, we see that justice is the primary focus of prayer.

When do you feel that justice is needed in your life? How do you want God to answer that prayer? How often do you approach him in faith on this matter? These are the questions that this parable draws us into as we aim to be seeking God in our prayers.
