If you died with Christ to the elements of this world, why do you live as if you still belonged to the world?” Colossians 2:20
Last week, we examined what it means to live in the fullness of Christ. There is a richness and depth in all that we have in him. However, the fullness of Christ may not always be a reality in our lives. We can be tempted to live in ways that keep us anchored in the world; mainly because the world exerts a seemingly greater force or louder voice in our lives. Yet, in Christ, the Christian has dies to the requirements and demands of the world around us. Colossians 2:16-23 outlines those areas that we may be tempted to remain in step with rather than live in the fullness that Jesus gives to those who believe in him.
