What should I wear today?

It’s a daily decision! What should I wear today? Many factors are considered before the final decision is made. Where am I going? Who will be there? How formal will it be? What’s in my closet? What’s in the laundry? It’s important to choose proper apparel for a particular occasion. This week’s Scripture uses the fashion metaphor to help believers understand God’s spiritual dress code. It uses the term “put on” to encourage virtues that make one attractive, and “put off” to identify vices which are fashion faux pas. As followers of Jesus, we want adorn ourselves with characteristics, attitudes, and behaviors that are spiritually in style for every situation.
